Urgent Call to Prayer!!! Please pray specifically: 1. That there would be a dramatic shift in the spiritual – specifically with the leader of the LRA Joseph Kony and his son who is rising up in the rebel army – leading to a total dismantling of the LRA and an end to this war. 2. That all abducted children will be returned to their families with full reunification. 3. That Christians in southern Uganda would mobilize for prayer and will respond to the specific compassion needs for those hurting in the north. Also pray that churches in the south will connect with churches in the north and come to their aid. 4. That pressure would be placed upon the government of Uganda to accept outside help from the UN and others. Also, that the spirit of pride and self-sufficiency would be broken in the government of Uganda and its President. 5. That the international community would unite and mobilize for immediate aid for the Ugandans in the IDP camps. That enough doctors, medicine, food, clean water, Bibles, ministers and teachers would be available in every IDP camp. 6. For all relief workers, including Carol Vezey of Favo u r of God Ministries in Gulu, Jimmy Odongo and Connie Akuli of Bethel Children's Ministry in Lira/Pader, Milly Rose and David Otto and all those working in Kitgum, Elizabeth Okwera-Toya of Ch ur ch of the Living Saviour a pastor with 5 branch churches in IDPs in the north, Patrick Ojera who ministers to the night commuters in Gulu, Justine Laker ministering in the IDP camps in Gulu, and Michael Oruni of the Children of War Rehab Center also in Gulu. Also pray specifically for Dennis Odoi and Elizabeth Rukundo of World Vision in Kampala. Relief workers in Uganda covet our prayers. If you have prayed for them, please send them a note of encouragement: Carol Vezey carole@africaonline.co.ug Praise Reports!!
